Caitlin strongly believes that the development of meaningful design requires a symbiosis of life experience, imagination and discipline.
Prior to Silverscape, Caitlin worked for a well known advertising firm providing marketing communication and design services to a diverse number of customers including banks, insurance, beverage and technology companies. In addition to business development and customer relations management, Caitlin was responsible for concept development and the design and production of a range of projects including corporate identity programs, trade advertising, marketing collateral, direct mail campaigns, exhibit graphics, and web branding and site design. Caitlin worked on campaigns for brands such as Disney, Boston Beer Company and Lernout & Hauspie.
As Principal and Creative Director at Silverscape, Caitlin leads the design of client projects with focus on business strategy and results. Caitlin’s extensive experience in her field includes branding and corporate identity programs, consumer packaging and product design, digital media and a myriad of printed communications. As co-founder and Principal, her primary responsibility is brand positioning and launch strategy for Silverscape clients. She’s highly skilled at finding the core differentiators, big ideas, warmth and clarity to position companies for success.
Caitlin Jewell earned a BFA degree in Communication Design from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design. A member of the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), she Volunteers her time and resources to fostering the development of emerging designers. She routinely participants in leading industry events, conferences and presentations as well as being selected for panels assembled in major award categories to judge national submissions. Her passions include brewing and enjoying craft beer, her beagle, encaustic wax medium oil painting and the rare bit of travel.
